Unfortunately, they said, some of the purveyors of the falsehood are Igala sons who should have known better.

”We state here categorically the whole idea of this announcement is predicated on certain fundamental misconception of the underpinnings of the Igala culture and tradition.

Nobody is interested in tradition again cry, everyone is just interested in being the one to break the news to the world.

It is understandable that there are some rites and rituals to be performed on a demised king before the announcement, but we know that these rituals and rites are just there to buy the time for some properties to be taken out by the demised king family and chiefs from the palace for personal use.

All the same, traditions and custom of the land should be respected.

Only the King dynasty can announce his demise to public in tradition. The attah is not a minister or political appointee but a traditional ruler. Media should have wait for official release even though it was true. Very on point to sue them

If only Africa would uphold traditions that propagate humanity and not tradition for tradition sake. We hold on tightly to old inherited traditions yet, we keep moving backwards. It's not about traditions but how those traditions impact humanity positively.
