leofab: Yeah. The first television station in Africa (even before Spain, France, etc), the tallest skyscraper in Africa, the first University in Nigeria etc were located in "the Lagos region". I know Lagos is like America to you yeebos, but Yoruba land was the richest region then. And Lagos was not part of the region as it was carved from the Yoruba region as the Federal Capital Territory. 7 Likes |

HedwigesMaduro: Soviet fighter jets flown by Egyptian pilots, Sudanese helicopter gunships, British vessels supervising the sea embargo, chadian ground fighters, endless British artillery, arms supplies for which Nigeria is still paying today through spurious oil block concessions.. where is your "Yoruba army" in all these Men fight, women talk about the fight! |

HedwigesMaduro: Murtala Mohammed was not a Yoruba man, but I understand you lot. You will claim anybody you deem to be brave, seeing that your generals specialise in kneeling down, begging and crying. We also executed Banjo's ass, as he was busy kneeling and begging the Ibibio guard to let him escape. |

T9ksy: Yes, it was Murtala. A well equipped and we'll supplied Murtala. If the Biafran troops in the Midwest had just one quarter of what Murtalas forces had, the result would have been entirely different. |

OfoIgbo:your people are mediocre for accepting their oppressors religion enmasse.Your ancestors must be turning in their graves. Adopting white god Jesus as their lord and saviour who died for their sins.Only a fool will believe a virgin got pregnant without a man touching her.It means virgin Nkechi can have another Jesus. Ibos and Hausas/fulani belong to the same class and always competing with each other. No wonder they do pack and go for your people he Yorubas have no biz competing with Ibos because you are no match with the Yorubas . When your Biafra comes we will chase your people out of Hausa and Yorubaland including your short devil minister claiming Lagos boy instead of Anambra. What a shame of a tribe. 3 Likes |

cocolacec: Once we leave Lagos, the place will crumble. Guaranteed! Regarding the bolded, you are very very correct. That's really what I have been trying to impart into that your monkey lookalike skull of yours. Igbos and Yorubas are definitely not in the same class. If you talk of civilisation, ours is way older. Some academics are even claiming that Igbos of Nri were the Pharaohs of Egypt (Prof. Acholonu), and even your learned Ooni, gives huge respect to the Igbo achievements in the olden days. Learn to honour the Igbos. It will help you. The inferior education you guys receive that makes you see EAST as WEST definitely disqualifies your people from being in the same platform as the Great Igbos. |
Re: Grade The Yoruba And Igbo Relation With The British. by LegendHero(m): 2:27pm On Sep 05, 2020 |
OfoIgbo: Stop saying nonsense on a public forum. LOL, and Igbo saying Yorubas of the greater west revives inferior education when most of all the best school in Nigeria is domiciled in the west both public and private. The Yorubas of the west have no competition except ourselves. Even when each tribe maintained regional government in the 50s, the Western Region is still the richest, well-composed, and with the most notable achievement among the three regions and it is composed majorly of Yorubas. The Eastern Region is just as poor as the Northern Region. Infact it got to a stage that the Eastern Region was actually the poorest among the three tribes. Lagos was already built up before the Igbos started flocking it like refugees so why exactly will it crumble? It will crumble because of the 2by 2 shops? Such a big joke! What’s in the SE? Nothing. Most of the well-to-do Igbos are domiciled in other people’s region or diaspora and on every indices, the SE is the poverty capital of the south because there is actually nothing of importance going on there. Just wait till Nigeria break up and everyone has to go back to their enclaves. You see the $1million law in Ghana for traders? The other regions can choose to enforce that kind of laws too and the Igbo petty traders will have no choice than to leave to their erosion ravaged region. Nigeria unity is still the only thing giving you Igbos mouth, let Nigeria collapse and we will all see what each region is made of. |

OfoIgbo:Yea, just as they are evicting y'll in Ghana now so their economy will collapse, yet you are yet to leave, na so una love Ghana reach?? There is nothing else that can be done to a people to show that they are not welcomed tin a place that hasn't been done in lagos, Oba threatened you, thugs attacked y'll during election etc, shouldn't that tell you something that y'll should leave, but I guess shame has no meaning to you people. Leave first, and let's see the economy collapse. 1 Like |

leofab:Ogun state alone dwarfs whatever your 5 tiny states make. The size of Oyo State as a whole is just a little fickle different to the size of all SE put together in landmass. Ogun state is the most industrialized state and the state with the highest number of higher institutions. We don't make mouth lásán-làsàn, we come with facts. I do say this and I want all your igwes and leaders of thoughts in your region to answer: If SE is as developed as most of you made the whole world to believe (all pun intended), why is it that the most booming transport services is east to west? Lagos-ibadan way is the busiest in west africa, thanks to okoros like you that doesn't want to stay back in your "developed" region. If you ever have any shame at all, you shouldn't leave your region to any part of Nigeria as you've claimed to be hated by other Nigerians. Remove Lagos from West, we are not mate and we will never be. 85% of successful igbo people today made their wealth in the west. Ask yourself why Nigerians aren't trooping to the east as they are to the west? Fashola just demonstrated for you by sending some igbos to upper iweka bridge, the world over didn't rest as shout of marginalization pilfer everywhere. They used attache by force swear for you? Can't you stay back in your region? What exactly is pursuing you people from that region? Know your master and stick by it. Civil War ended 50 yrs ago and you need to grow up away from it. Yorùbá is only in a class of its own. Na you dey find us come our region in droves to make meaningful of your lives, we no too dey go ya side. Be shameful for once and avoid us. Dem swear for you to be rushing down here? Remember, ants go anywhere there is honey. 1 Like |
