The Ebonyi Local Government election conducted across the 13 local government areas of the state, has been concluded with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) emerging winners of the whole Chairmanship and Councillorship position.

Not less than 13 different political parties participated in the election which took place in the 13 LGAs and 171 political wards.

Both Ebonyi and Enugu are just typical one party states and including Abia somehow.. Those are the bastion of PDP in the east
