IRVING, Texas - "We asked you to leave the country without further delay."

This was just one sentence in a letter sent to an Irving, Texas resident from a member of their community.


According to the Irving Police Department, who posted a photo of the letter, it's an isolated incident.

"American citizens in IT industry and other professional fields have lost jobs to many Indians and Chinese," the letter reads. "We asked you to leave the country without further delay. We will have no choice but to shoot mercilessly at work place, in community, on pool or on playground."

The police department in Irving said it's taking this case 'extremely serious' and an investigator has been assigned to the case. It's unclear who wrote the letter, as of Monday evening.
