i believed this OP.

i once searched youtube trying to figure out how to make VR-box (Virtual reality box) for playing game myself, the tutorial started with how to create lenses with water bottle and water.

i was so suprised seing how magnifying lenses were created with just plastic bottle and water.

Yeah. I once read something about leaving bottle water in your car under the sun and later drinking it. That its poisonous as the plastic under the heat of the sun emits some toxic chemical ( polymers) used in producing it into the water which contaminates and makes it unsafe for drinking. So, this might be true.

Bottle water is not health wise!
