Angelfrost:I’m not like you, I live in the free world so I know how market forces operate? No civilized country pays subsidy on petroleum, it makes no logical sense, because the Military forced it on us for years due to laziness on part of Government does that make it right? In the free world we have different grades of fuel from regular, to premium, to Supreme you make your choice of gasoline according to your ride, and pocket, please keep quiet you know nothing. We supported Jonathan’s removal of subsidy, like the privatization of the electricity sector, bloody coward, he renegaded from the right move, because some minority of Nigerians opposed his action, like they are doing today against President Buhari? Good thing we got rid of the two minded nitwit. 1 Like |

Horllaryehmi:Nothing could be more free than this action let market forces determine the price of refined crude products, not the Government, Regulator Government will set a bench mark, market forces will determine the price, the price of pms in Victoria Island Lagos cannot be the same price as badagry Lagos State, demand & supply must also come into factor. 1 Like |

Hmm. This government stood against subsidy in 2012 , they use this against those that in power then. When this government came on board they bring different dimensions to the fuel prices. It very shameful the government that stood against subsidy now removed subsidy. God punishment will be on you for misleading the Nation call Nigeria. The government doesn't good at the economy they're just using garbage in garbage out. When uneducated leading the professionals what do you expect?. It's a lesson to me not to engaged in what am not good at and that is exactly what happening in Nigeria. Allow those that are good run the affairs of your Nation, Nigeria is going backwards the future is blinking no sense of direction because the leadership doesn't know from left to right. 2023 is loading Nigeria don't choose leadership based on party but on wisdom, good leadership, integrity and their personalities. |

I expect a massive nation wide protests which I am fully ready to participate. If this doesn't happen then I'm totally giving up on Nigeria, because I can't live here and be suffering for the incompetence of one man and his dumb party. Its easy to blame PDP but do you have to add to pains of the masses at this point in time. This government cannot even give palliatives to even 50% of her population to cushion the loss of jobs and close of businesses yet they are quick to roll out higher VATs, electricity rates and fuel pump prices over night. The timing for all these just isn't right now haba! If Nigerians don't unify and protest against this madness there's no telling what these insensitive crooks will demand next. |

SIONKPO1:Fix the refineries? Government is trying to disengage it’s self, you are exclaiming the exact opposite? No wonder you are confused, you don’t know what you are talking about, just babbling, didn’t Obasanjo sell the refineries before he left power? He knew the right thing, ignorant people like you complained it was reversed for political reasons, 12 years after they are still lying idol? Now you blame President Buhari? Very funny indeed. 1 Like |

kikero:At last It has been removed, Regulators I believe said 151, market forces said 162, landing price at the petrol station can still be 164, depends on where in Nigeria it is going, it is simple economics, Lagos State may consume 4 million litters of pms in 2 days, Kebbi state may consume that same amount in 7 weeks, and you want the prices to be the same in each State? 1 Like 1 Share |

SIONKPO1:Exactly what I Keep telling you, they made promises to you Children, not me, only a Mumu will believe President Buhari can fix the price of petroleum products, Shell, Chevron, Exxon Mobil all operate in Nigeria, the second non of them were interested in the refineries any reasonable mind should have suspected something is wrong, but as usual the black man always dances to the beat of last years no 1 song. You will still end of paying higher for petroleum products until Dangote’s refinery comes on stream. A decade & change ago, Nigeria was the number 1 importer of cement in the world, today we are an exporter Nation thanks to Dangote Abdulrahman Rabiu. |
