...Commends Governor Wike for creating enabling environment for oil exploration business to thrive

The Member representing Akuku-Toru Constituency II, Hon. Lolo Isaiah Opuende has commended Newcross and NNPC for fulfilling their corporate social responsibility to the host community.

Lolo in his speech, expressed delight over the commissioning of the four units Self-contain Guest House project; saying that, it has proved the sincerity of Newcross and NNPC to fulfill their commitment towards their host communities.

He urged idama people to maintain peace and the existing cordial relationship to enable the oil exploration business to thrive, as well as attract more projects to the area.

The erudite lawmaker, Hon. Lolo Isaiah Opuende also commended the governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike for creating an enabling environment for Newcross to carry out its operation smoothly.

The lawmaker on behalf of the good people of Akuku-Toru Constituency II acknowledged Newcross and its partners over the laudable project. He urged the people of Idama to guide it jealously against any form of vandalization as he asked for more community-based development projects from Newcross.
