Tell me what's more important than a Governor running for 2nd term to sell himself to the populace.

There are Gubernatorial debates and separate ones organised for deputies. You don't simply delegate that responsibility except if you have absolutely nothing to offer.

Only a really dumb person would be fooled by that excuse. No offence, but that's the bitter truth.

Mehn... he is Governor, he has works he has done, his projects and jingles are loud and clear, the Edo people have felt and seen it.. opposition needs more marketing than he does, he can afford to delegate a debate if he has pressing state issues to attend to.. but for same opposition to abscond from such opportunity is beyond empty, it obviously shows lack of thinking..

For some us that were members of the Press and Debating Society back in secondary school days, a debate is strictly a debate between two opposing sides. No one comes from the sides or audience to take part. A debate session meant for a particular person or persons is strictly for such person or persons and not the other way round
