This indeed is a perfect example of how the devil rewards those who are his. His rewards are sometimes pleasurable for a while but eternally painful. Even the pleasures derived are nothing but painful pleasures.

The devil is never tired of recruiting men for service, luring them with offers that are really enticing, but it will be better if we know what the actual reward will be at the end. The Bible teaches us that "To be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace"-Romans 8:6.

The ultimate reward of satisfying the devil's will is 'death'. There's absolutely no gain at the end. If you think there's any tangible reward in serving the devil's desire, ask Judas Iscariot what he gained after all.

I only know of one who will never deny his workers their rewards, and his rewards are way behind what man can give. He (God) taught us that every workers are entitled to their pay (Luke 10:7). So, how will He now deny us of our pay if we're in service to Him?

He's the very one who gave up His only begotten son for us while we were yet sinners, will there be limit to how much He can give to us now that we have been reconciled back to Him?

Quit serving the devil who has nothing real to offer you and turn to your creator this moment. Only God is committed to servicing you when you're committed to serving Him.

May we never work the work whose reward is unto death in Jesus' name.
