The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 100 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 55,005. Three new deaths were recorded along with 91 recoveries. Lagos State topped the list. The 100 new cases are reported from 10 states - Lagos (39), FCT (22), Kaduna (19), Oyo (7), Ebonyi (6), Edo (3), Katsina (1), Ekiti (1), Bauchi (1), Nasarawa (1). The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 100 cases were from 10 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 39. The Federal Capital Territory followed with 22 cases while Kaduna State had 19 cases. 91 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 43,013 from 42,922. Three new deaths were recorded.
