The federal government commenced to air-drop of relief items to the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Borno state. The air-drop relief operation carried out by the ministry of humanitarian affairs, disaster management, and social development, in alliance with the Nigerian Air Force. Hajiya Sadiya Umar Farouk, the humanitarian affairs on Sunday, September 6, in Maiduguri enlightened that both food and non-food items airdropped to the IDPs.
