We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Loan Recovery Officer
Location: Lekki-Lagos
Department: Exchquer
Resports To: Loan Recovery Manager
Scope
o Reviewing the company debtor list
o Contacting customers and informing them of their overdue bills
o Advising customers on their payment options and suggesting methods of payments
o Negotiating suitable payment plans
o Maintaining customer payment records
o Preparing customer financial statements for the relationship officers
o Writing final notice warnings to customers when payment is not being made
o Instituting legal actions when customers fail to pay their debt
o Monitor accounts to identify loan age analysis and outstanding debts
o Investigate historical data for each loan debt
o Find and contact clients to ask about their overdue payments
o Contacting lawyers and insurance agencies to facilitate payments
o Any other duties assigned
Requirements
o Degree in Accounting or other related field
o Not less than 2years in financial institution
o Outstanding communication & listening skills
o Excellent customer service skills
o The integrity to respect private and confidential information
o The ability to work to targets and deadlines
o The capacity to work well in a high pressure work environment
o Attention to detail
o A professional phone manner
o High quality computer and math skills
o ACA/ACCA is an added advantage
