Would you accept a professional touching your spouse/mate at these following establishments:

Doctor office
Hospital
Bra/Panty Shop
Waxing/Tattooing parlor
Spa
Clothing boutique

Mr. Chima and I had a discussion about professionals touching spouses at a business establishment.  Mr. Chima argues that his friend had every right to tell the doctor not to touch his wife.  The wife is having surgery done to remove bosom implants and the surgeon is a male. 

I argued that the friend didn't have any right to pick his wife doctor or professionals.  If I was approached by a male shop employee and he is good at measurements of  bras or clothing.  I didn't see any issues with the male employee taking my measurements. 

I also stressed to Mr. Chima that just because a man is in the store doesn't mean he want every woman in the store the same goes for the women.  Mr. Chima's friend states that he agree with my husband saying that doctors aren't to be trusted and he feel comfortable with a female doctor.  I asked him if he asked his wife how does she feel.  He haven't responded and I already knew the answer.

It's really a question of trust. Can you trust your spouse to act with honour and diginity if anything untoward should happen? It must also be said that the weak-willed should be protected from themselves.

Trust or insecurity? I think both are factors.

I could trust a spouse and I could trust a professional. I hate to say it, but most men have an issue with this because there are plenty of male salesmen, plastic surgeons, obstetricians, gynecologists, etc. lol. If there were more female urologists and andrologists than males, would they still be complaining? I wonder o!

^^i assume someone going to a hospital, is doing so because they have health issues that need to be addressed.

Yes. Ranging from migraines to male/ female reproductive issues to bosom augmentation. Doctors study anatomy and physiology in medical school. Coochies, tatas, and pens are also studied. They're not off limits lol, so it makes plenty of sense for Mrs Chima to list them with other professions that involve touching the body.

^^i think there's a problem when you put a hospital in the same category as a clothing boutique, waxing parlour and panty shop.

I agree Orga. Touching is touching and I find men to have issues with their wives or girlfriends having male doctors or male professionals. I want to say jealous play a huge part of this dilemma but then again other factors such as insecurity and paranoia play in this well.

I wouldn't allow a professional touching on myself by a male or female on my husband.My husband sometimes nag if i decide to seek another professional help, but sometimes we can't help it

Even as a teenager I always chose female GP's if I had some issues with my innermost female anatomy and I grew up with it.

For my husband he does not need to see any female GP to assess him, I do it myself. Can't stand a woman trespassing all in the name of checking him up

Seriously though, I've never seen or heard of a female urologist or andrologist. Why men are so into plastic surgery and obstetrics and gynecology in the first place is quite questionable lol. I've seen PLENTY of them. I find it lame anyhow. It's for professional reasons. Unless the spouse believes his or her partner will follow a wayward professional, but that's another topic altogether; one I find unpopular.

It is interesting because every IGBO MAN I asked in my area said the same thing but surprising to e a few other African men from other countries said they didn't mind after all he is just a doctor.

Mr. Chima FORBADE ME TO HAVE A MALE DOCTOR. I had to politely remind my baby he wasn't in Lagos. He was getting beside himself. My husband's friend was spitting and foaming at the mouth when I asked him what if his wife won't change doctors what would he do?

Good thing I was at home because I would have been escorted out of someone's home again.

Say whatever you wanna say, I prefer a female doctor for my wife but an old male doctor @70's will be manageable maybe on some emergency purposes. There is an adage that says something about a handshake going beyond the elbow, the geographical or physical surroundings not withstanding the handshake has been transformed to something else. Are you going to say you've never heard of medical personnel taking advantage of their positions to be intimate with patients in their care, health status not withstanding? I don't know of any establishment that doesn't have people like that so it's no big deal for them to be listed.

Have you ever wondered on the tickles and sensation that spring through the patients body during these intruding checkups.

Better safe than sorry. I'll prefer a female doctor to check on my wife and better still, i've got to confirm she's straight. You'll be surprised at what female doctors do these days___

yes, there are rogue people in every environment but i think it's a bit worrying when hospitals are downgraded to the level of waxing parlours, beer joints, panty shops and what have you.


but i agree a lot of the healthcare settings these days arent very encouraging.

How's this measurement done? by cupping ones hand around the boobs? c'mon dont give us imaginations. The measurement has nothing to do with physical examination. Normally the lady tries different sizes till she gets a perfect match *please don't let anybody frolick your boobs in the name of professional examination, abeg*

There is a different between cup your bosoms to take measurements and finding a bra that suits the size and massaging your bosoms when it is not necessary. It only takes about five minutes or less for most unless you have those TITANIC SIZED bosoms.
