div111:Most of you guys are just too dull and never have anything to contribute to discussions once the thread isnt about ethnic rivalry and insults. So, for a very sensitive and important issue as this, you still try to turn it to a Yoruba vs Igbo stuff, because that is the only way characters like you could possibly have any contribution to make- insults. Attempt to say anything intelligent let's see. I challenge you. 10 Likes 1 Share |

I think the PPPRA should be disbanded so they won't come with new subsidy regime just to give a reason for their existence. FCPC should handle the consumer protection aspects by ensuring marketers dispense unadulterated and accurate product to customers. Also, the federal government should demilitarized the nation and cancel police stop and check. Police should only be allowed to patrol, so we don't have checkpoint every corner that increases price of commodity 3 Likes |

baralatie:Yes, but if there is will, it can be done. Ijagemo part of Lagos, there is a military base there, they were brought in 2015 when militants were so much into bunkering. After the operation ended, the army were not removed, what they now do since early 2016 is to extort motorists or anyone bringing large stuffs in(₦100-₦1000), settle civil dispute by beating one for another, amongst other vices. Despite their presence, the community is still subjected to robbery attack, so what is the essence of having them. Abeokuta to Eruwa is having more than 15 checkpoints, yet Fulani herdsmen attack frequently on the road. 3 Likes 1 Share |

I hope competition drag the price down on time. He, however, noted that the role of the agency would be to ensure that oil marketers do not profiteer, as every petrol dealer was, henceforth free to source for product and fix their price. “This, however, must be in accordance with our code of conduct because as a regulator, it is our duty to protect the consumer and operators must abide by our codes,” Saidu stated. 2 Likes |

baralatie:No, I don't share that view. If BH ends today, will it be a good decision to still keep armed forces there for years when the purpose for which they were there is no longer relevant? Another example, at Ìyànà Ipaja under bridge in Lagos, the mopol there were brought in around early 2000 during Saula Nurtw crisis, it's about 20years now, the mopol are still there, do you think those officers are productive there? They now tax motorists commuting passengers there. You can't draft them to the purpose for which they were trained and expect optimal output because they are so used to life outside the system 1 Like |

Trust me, oil marketers will team up to form associations and secret cults like barbers. Who is picking price for dangote cements and others? They are still having approximately same price for cements. Nigeria is a cursed country 9 Likes |

Good step. The only thing they need to do is making sure Price Fixing by marketer is taken as a crime. 2 Likes |

GamalNasser: The cbn is most likely to devalue the exchange rate from 380 to either 420 or 450. That is also part of imf conditions for loan. The current rate is no longer practicable. Last last dollars might even exchange for 500 naira. 1 Like |
