For the first time, am joining Nnamdi K to call this country a zoo. Every day I wake up, the news we hear breaks my heart. For how long are we going to continue like this. For how long before this killings and kidnapping stop.

No day will pass by without the news of mass killings or kidnappings hitting the media. We have become so used to such news that we just read and pass without any sympathy. Is that how a country is supposed to be.

What did we do to deserve all these.

Just this morning, there was a news of a former Nigerian Scrabble player who was killed by kidnappers when he went to pay ransom for his kidnapped cousin. Now this evening there so another news of kidnappers attacking a community. What is happening to our nation.

Am forced to believe that all those at the helm of affairs are all together in this.... Cos I don't seem to understand how security in this country keeps going down and nothing meaningful is been done about it.

Where is the Nig Army?
Where is the Air Force?
Where is the Police?
Where is DSS?

But it's surprising how these security forces attack civilians when ever they come out to protest.

Do we really have a president in this country...
Do we have a chief of staff who is supposed to be advising the president on issues like this?

How about Buratai, Sadiq Abubakar... Where is Yusuf M Bichi, where is Mohammed Adamu...?

What are they doing about the insecurity in this nation. Or are they not seeing the news of the daily killings.

My annoyance even goes to those members of security force who keep quiet and watch as their people are been killed.

How can you be a captain, lieutenant, general, in the Nig Army or Air force... How can you be a commissioner of police, deputy commissioner of police, AIG, DIG... and you are from Katsina, Zamfara, Sokoto, Niger, Benue... Then you keep quiet and watch your people getting killed like animals. How can you be a serving minister, senator and rep member and you can use your position to shout on top of voice to ensure that this killings stop.

It seems to me the north don't give a damn about this killings cos they don't speak out much as the southerners do(I stand to be corrected)...

And even when you people from the south talk, same northerners will come and start attacking you as it's evidenced in this from where people like A****WA will turn is to IPOD issue. As if it's a crime to cry out against the killings going on in this country.

No doubt, every region have its own security challenges, but the type we are experiencing now as a nation can only be stopped when we go our separate ways, cos it's obvious the central government don't what to do anything about it.

How can we have bandits coming from a foreign land to kill our people and walk freely. How come as good citizens, we can't travel our roads at will without the fear of getting kidnapped, and when we come out to protest, the same security agencies who are supposed to protect us will be the ones shooting and arresting us.

Let's go our separate ways... So that if in the land of Biafra, we have bandits in our forest causing havoc, we will have the liberty of facing then in our own way. Cos under this one Nigeria, the govt don't want to protect you and when you come out to protect yourself, the govt will get you arrested. So it's obvious the govt are somewhat behind all these killings.

One thing I knw for sure is, no matter how divided the Igbo people are, there is no way we will allow armed bandits operate in our land without giving in all that we have to flush then out.

As it is now, the only way to save the life of the average Nigerian citizen is to divide this country. Let every region protect it self.

Seriously, it's so disheartening. We have our soldiers chasing ipob, chasing Shiite members..

We have our police chasing yahoo boys and arresting innocent protesters.

Here in Kano, around Yan kura market, I recently saw a Hilux van of DSS armed with guns in conjunction with KAROTA chasing market women...

But when it's time for Thier primary responsibility, you won't see them.
