The Buhari Media Organisation, BMO, has slammed former
President Olusegun Obasanjo for saying Nigeria is slowly
becoming a failed state and divided under President
Muhammadu Buhari
Speaking at a consultative dialogue on Friday in Abuja,
Obasanjo noted that he had never seen Nigeria so divided.
The former Nigerian leader added that many of the
problems plaguing the country today were due to the recent
mismanagement of Nigeria’s diversity.
Reacting to the former President’s comment, the Chairman
of the Buhari Media Organisation, Niyi Akinsiju, said
Nigerians would expect people like Obasanjo to behave like
a statesman and address issues facing the country
constructively.
He explained that the former President should not join a
class of elites who complain because their selfish material
interests were not being met.
Akinsiju said that President Buhari was moving Nigeria in
the right direction after elite from all tribes contributed to
the current state of affairs in the country.
He said “ One would expect people like former President
Obasanjo to behave like a statesman and not serve as a
distraction.
“The Nigerian political elite complain just like he is doing
now when their personal interests are not being serviced.
“President Muhammadu Buhari is doing what every sensible
leader should do – put the interest of the majority of
Nigerians first. Most of our fault lines that Obasanjo is
talking about today are creations of the selfish interests of
the elite which have no economic consequences. Most of
our elite advance these fault lines to further their interests.”

Akinsiju is desperate to please his paymasters. But he has forgotten that it is only a matter of three more years. How will life be for him after Buhari? Unlike in the past while you can get away or deny most if the things you do, internet never forgets.

"Nothing can be done against...but for the truth". _(Christian Bible)
Whether they go for the offensive or defensive, the truth remains. And whether the truth is from the mouth of one " failed" Nigerian (Obj), or the mouth of the good Nigerian majority; the truth is established: This old Nigerian president was unwise in stabbing the unity of the nation by glaring bigotry, historical tribalism, blatant nepotism & crass impunity. Buhari was power thirsty but was never ready, he was never qualified for the leadership of a unified Nigeria. May such an affliction not rise up in the future. Nigeria is moving forward.

Does this man even knows what constitutes being a statesman? Does a bigoted, clannish, ethno-religious supremacist like Buhari fit into that category? With many of his divisive statements & even policies of governance?

This BMO's Niyi Akinseju always appears as usual an slowpoke whenever he appears on the media to defend the many unpardonable gaffes of the Buhari government that even his own openly condemned.

I have never seen anyone that elevated sycophancy to such an imaginary stupid level. The man & Femi Adeshina are just something else.Really pity their lives after this catastrophe of a regime will be gone pass.
