A Nairalander's Call. by Deevinee(f): 11:01am On Sep 13, 2020 |
Hello Nairalanders, I've been a guest for about a year or two now. Decided to register today and share my story. Pls endeavor to read to the end and God bless you as you do. don't even know where to start and which to say. When I was born, I don't know ... They say the nurse was suppose to flush something from nose ...Anyways I grew up finding it very difficult to pronounce words ... Sometimes when I read it was mistaken for another ... My nose was completely blocked I had to breathe from my mouth ... And also whenever I eat I try to be fast swallowing if not I will get choked .. Same happens when I talk ... I talk quickly to be able to catch my breath ... It was terrible when I went for sleepovers and the host would complain to my mom to take me to the hospital they (doctors) will end up saying ... She's okay 2. So | had to grow with it ... Since some persons said I would outgrown it .. But it never happened .. It even became worse. Jt made me snore and then whatever was blocking my nose will smell for days .. I wouldn't be able to be close to anybody because I will end up embarrassed ... And then some person suggested surgery around my throat .. I was scared, really scared ... And besides there was no money for such thing. So luckily for me, 2016 there was this health insurance thing provided for my mom in her workplace ... So I was taken to the required hospital ... And then thankfully I was referred to a Specualist i.e the ENT (ear, nose and throat) Doctor. And then the man was like you will have to take drugs throughout. Well I started the drugs .... The man said I should never miss any that's I should be in the hospital. Fellow Nairalanders I'm glad to tell y'all that I've seen tremendous improvements so far, but the issue is funds to continue the drugs in order to complete the dose.. God bless you as you try assist in anyway you can, no matter how little, take 3mins to help a friend.. By His grace I have assisted people in this forum in like manner I pray God touches y'all to turnout for me too. Mods help push to front page. Acc: divine Adetutu 0603245614 GTBank |
