Speak against drug abuse- Genevieve tells youth's

The Senior Special Assitant on International Relations and Special Duties to the Delta State Governor and Member Of high-powered 17-man Task Force to check human trafficking and irregular migration in the state Dr Genevieve Mordi has urged Delta youth's to speak against drug abuse .

Mordi in Asaba discbried the use of drug by youth's as alarming.

She noted that the rate of drug abuse among youths need to be addressed daily.

"Millions of people suffer from an illicit drug disorder and we are losing lives everyday as a result of drug abuse.

There is no gain in drug abuse, we must rise up and speak against it."

Speaking further she said there are Side effects of drug addiction .

"Our youths need to run away from drug abuse
Drug abuse weakened immune system, increasing the risk of illness and infection" she said while calling on more Sensitization on the effect of drug abuse in our society.
