A video hits the internet recently and went viral. In the video, a pregnant woman was lying on the bare floor in front of Pumwani Maternity Hospital. She was crying and shouting as other women cover her with their clothes.
Some men tried to talk to medical professionals in the hospital but prove abortive. Women at the scene where shouting and yelling to create commotion may be medical professionals might consider letting her in but nothing of such happened.
Even the woman was crying, other women there didn’t attempt to help her deliver safely, rather they were shouting and running helter shelter.
Before modernised medical services came to Africa, our mother give birth safely with the help of few experienced women, since medical is not available in Kenya, I was expecting women to come and help her deliver, rather they were shouting.
This pregnant lady cried she weep, she screams, she moans yet, nothing happened, where are we going in Africa?
The worst part of this story is that Pumwani hospital is government-owned. The lady who posted the video claimed the dying lady was turned down of her request for service.
However, the main reason why she was denied medical service is unknown but as loud and disturbing as people were shouting, no single doctor came out to see what is happening.

Sadly in many countries around the world, you need to pay to get medical help... so without money people will not get help. Who are we kidding?
