You can be owing the government unknowingly and without your consent. It's only possible in Nigeria. Hahahahahaha!

And every country that has ever borrowed. If you’re born in the US, you automatically owe the tune of $100,000+

Their debt profile is around $21 trillion

This country is seriously sick and won't recover. Since a Nigerian owes #155k, such is already a slave to the lenders. Whenever we are ready to make naija better, no one will tell us to hit the street to bring the bad govt down.....but until then, we will remain a zombie.

Hit the streets and the yorubas will call u ipob or pdp and how u want to rock the boat so that their god tinubu doesn't become president

Remove the millions of aboki that will never be taxable ie 40-50m, old and unproductive maybe another 30m, means you share the debt amongst 130m people to get the real figure.

nice data analysis. Now how many Nigerians have given up to that as tithe n offerings? yet folks like to make it sound like religious houses are the one milking us dry. After wasting it, they now want tax religious houses and southerners.

Blv me, you are paying already. Government has begin to dip its filthy fingers into people's account. Collecting stamp duties and fictitious taxes.

When a school in your area is not built because govt is using over 70% of it's budget for debt servicing, you are paying.

No equipment in the hospital, no light, no road, etc, you are paying.

The question is what the money borrowed used for? Ask, Lai Mohammed and all political thieves in NIgeria
