I had to screenshot the story just to keep it as evidence. No wonder the players tend to fizzle out in high intensity matches. It is a general problem for Italian football; an overrated reliance on experience.

It's definitely going to come back and hunt them when they are trying to get rid of these players as they don't have any real market value.

Not every player gets to perform for a club but if they are in their prime ages they can be gotten rid of at very reasonable prices at a profit to the said club. That money is then invested to get other players; it's simple logic. This is the exact problem Barcelona is going through right now, they bought the likes of Griezman, Dembele, Coutinho etc for expensive prices but got rid of Rakitic, Vidal, Suarez etc for next to nothing because they have no real market value due to their ages.
