Ondo State Government has vowed to resist any antics of River State Governor, Nyesom Wike, in meddling into the conduct of the October 10 governorship election.
It said Governor Wike’s imperialistic approach was most unfortunate and very unbecoming.
Ondo Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Donald Ojogo, in a press statement, said Wike’ imperious attitude and recourse to spurious allegations just because of an election was amusing.
Ojogo said the people of Ondo State would resist any attempt by Wike to play the role of a godfather in Ondo state.
He said “Ondo is not Rivers.”
According to him, “In all aspects, Governor Wike deserves respect not just as governor but as a critical stakeholder in the Democratic journey. He has his inalienable rights as a citizen to express his mind and make comments about whatever he feels strongly about.
“However, what amuses us is his imperious attitude and recourse to spurious allegations just because of an election. He should know that the people of the State, who have a history of rejecting external influence and domination, will resist his attempt to play the role of a godfather in Ondo state. Ondo is not Rivers.
“The man ought to know that utterances of public office holders must be measured and their delivery ought to be in line with the mood of the people.
“The people of the state will resist Wike here even if he had roared elsewhere successfully. For emphasis, his imperialistic approach is most unfortunate and very unbecoming.”

Mr. Commissioner, you have not actually told us the utterances Wike made, you need to tell us the godson of Wike, or is it that you guys are beginning to jitter already. You have nothing to fear about Wike except you have a skeleton in your cupboard. seriously I took the ban so personal, he acted so unprofessional, there was no direct abuse, he's clearly pained for APC loss in Edo state

if you're an apc member and broke any rules even more than twice
the highest he can do is to delete that comment thereby protecting the person from other mods that might be just.
but if you're an anti buhari just blast buhari anyhow and get your account banned for 6 months for a flimsy excuse
sometimes if you're an anti buhari and reported an APC member on a blatant violation of rules
if he sees he can't protect the person any longer he'll just ban both of you with another flimsy excuse.
