Justice Ibrahim Galadima of the National Industrial Court has again ordered the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC), to stop their planned strike.

Following a sudden increase in electricity and petrol price tariffs, Newsrand had reported that the labour unions threatened to embark on the industrial strike.

The unions had unanimously threatened that if at the end of Monday, September 28, 2020, the Federal Government fails to address its demands and reverse the price increase, they shall embark on strike.
