On the early hours of Saturday 26th September 2020, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri visited Guyuk Local Government Area of Adamawa State during Sinmi-Lalama festival.

The Governor described Sinmi-Lalama festival of Lunguda Chiefdom as a symbol that promotes peaceful coexistence between Lunguda and Waja among other tribes in Guyuk local government area.

Speaking at the Palace of Kwandi Nungurya in Guyuk on Saturday during the 2020 celebration of the festival marking the end of a week long cultural event for a successful season of bountiful harvest.
