Manchester City are without a recognised senior striker after Gabriel Jesus was ruled out with an injury sustained at Wolves on Monday.

Central defender Aymeric Laporte is not fully fit after only recently returning to training following a period of self-isolation.

Leicester City midfielder Wilfried Ndidi needs surgery on a groin injury and will be out for up to 12 weeks.

Ricardo Pereira remains out but Jonny Evans could feature following a ban.

This is in response to EZIXT reply on my last post about mancity not having a proven striker to support aguero.

Oh yes indeed mancity does not have a proven striker, I mean Gabriel Jesus is not a proven striker in any stretch of imagination, these are my points;

Firstly, yes Gabriel Jesus is Brazil number 1 striker ahead of Fermino, that is because Brazil does not currently have a world class strikers anymore to bank their hope on, look around every big clubs currently in the world and show me one outstanding Brazilian striker? ....... And mind you Fermino is not a traditional number 9 striker, Even in Liverpool, he is used in a supporting role............... Gebriel Jesus is the only striker in Brazilian history that went to a world cup and play all the matches without scoring a single goal......... How can you call that a proven striker?

Secondly, aguero was injured mostly last season, so for a greater part of last season Gabriel Jesus was mancity main striker, that is why he had 14 goals BUT even with 14goals he under achieve, that is why sometimes guardiola uses Sterling and debryune as false 9..and he was at times criticized by the media for horrible misses because it is believe that it would have been very easy for him to score double of that 14 goals due to debryune.... Let me shock you with a statistics here;. Messi and Muller both had 21 assist from 68 and 61 chances created respectively,..... If you take a ratio of goal scored by chances created (by both Messi and Muller), u will discover that the ratio is 1:3.......
But debryune alone created 156 chances and had just 20 assist......... If I want to used the same ratio of 1:3 on debryune, .. debryune should be having nothing less than 50 assist last season.......... But that useless striker called Gabriel Jesus in collaboration with Sterling join force together to frustrate debryune missing so many tap-ins last season.

Thirdly, u said that mancity should feel fortunate have two big striker?............. But I will tell you that you are wrong, infact na only on striker mancity get........ Let me take you back to memory lane incase you don't know the vision of that club called mancity;
Do you remember 2014 season! ... When mancity were using 4 world class strikers to intimidate top 4 clubs?...... Mancity were using Aguero and Tevez to start matches while Dzeko and Balloteli were used as super sub!......... Can u compare a strike force of Aguero, Tevez, Dzeko and Balloteli WITH a strike force of Aguero and Jesus?
Is mancity progressing or regressing!
That is the question for you to answer.

Nobody hate guardiola and I know that he is not the only one handling transfer activities in mancity,..... But mancity board are buying players according to the list that Guardiola gave them............. Ever since guardiola came into mancity, the quality of players bought have drop..... This low quality players he bought may be good in execution of his tiki taka play BUT they can not win you champions league.

Before mancity were buying David Silva, Yaya Toure, nasri, Tevez, Dzeko, Fernandinho, debryune, Sterling, kolarov, etc BUT now guardiola is buying John stone, Mendy, zinchenko, rodri, cancelo, Ake, mehrez, Torres etc can you compare the quality?
