Thierry Henry has agreed a move to Barcelona for £16 million, according to reports in Spain.

Spanish radio station Cadena Ser claims the Arsenal captain has agreed a four-year deal at the Nou Camp.

my major concern is not thierry leaving though it is most regrettable.the other day vieira left for a paltry 13.7 million pounds now henry going for 16 million.how on earth can carrick and hargreaves be more expensive.However, I feel convinced because thesun.co.uk even posted his letter to the fans(sorry i don't know how to put link). if wenger leaves, thats the end because the arsenal i started supporting would now be totally different.as speculated, if wenger goes(one of the fears why henry is leaving). i think that would be the end of everything.i wish arsenal can delay and collect the right price.drogba can't be 24million and henry 16. shevy can't be 30 million and henry nearly half of that.unacceptable to me.i don't even know why eto'o is no longer part of the deal.arsenal is in a big mess for real

Henry probably has a £16m buyout clause in his contract. Which shows he never really wanted to stay. That should be no surprise as he should have left after the Champions LEague final had he not bottled it and decided to be all French and hide his head in the sand.

It'll be a good thing for Arsenal in the long run. Wenger defers too heavily to Henry's whims and it affects team selection and tactics. Without him there Wenger will really need a Director of Football to advise him on team tactics. They will have to work harder on all fronts. That can only be good for the Gunners.

The next best thing thing that could happen to them is that Wenger and his see nothing, hear nothing whiney approach to football follows Henry to some sunny holiday resort. We could do without a team loaded with talent that underperforms and a manager who really sits bachk and hopes the team manages is itself. And when things dont go right he gets all petty and self righteous. Imagine losing to West Ham home and away last season. Don't tell me that was just bad luck.

at this point, the best thing that will happen to the club will be the exit of wenger to give way to a new arsenal club with a different ideology.
it is obvious arsenal is one of the richest clubs in europe but wenger has soaked himself so much with pride in his intentions and claims to make history with youngstars and such a risk gamble are done at the detriments of the fans and club.

We should all wish Thierry well, for all the service to the Gunners and the Premiership. My only issue is that the price was low and we also have not tried to get any top notch striker for next season.

Although, I am an indigene of OLD TRAFFORD, I love the guy called Thiery Henry. He is too good to be hired for 16M pounds. Other players who are not even as good as he is earn higher than that.

Maybe, because of the rivalry between MAN UTD and ARSENANL, I do not think he would have been willing to play for MAN UTD. But in all, I do not think he deserves a low-key exit from the Gunners' camp [16M].
