Man Shoots Wife To Death, Commits Suicide Over Infidelity In Cross River (Graphic Photos)

A man committed suicide by hanging after shooting his wife to death over infidelity in Bashua community, Boki LGA of Cross River State.

The incident according to report happened on Saturday, 26 September, 2020.

According to the story shared by a Facebook user, Martmercy Busaosowo, the man identified as Akpan killed his wife after finding out that she was allegedly having an affair with other men.

Report gathered that the man and his wife are indigenes of Akwa Ibom who came into the community to do farm work.

HGS Media Plus learnt that the man ran into the bush after shooting his wife and residents from the community began to search for him since on Saturday, day of the incident.

However, the man's body was later found on Monday hanging on a tree inside the bush by residents in the community, HGS understands.

Report also gathered that the man and his wife has five children, all boys and have been in the community for many years.
