I don't know about Sowere and how genuine he is but regarding your last question, the fact that he tried to get there before protesting could actually be translated to mean that he's not like all those who shy away from politics and the subject but would be the first to complain when the leaders misbehave. Contesting for a political position is a better way to bring about change than leading a protest. Protest should be a last resort and logically, that's what he's left with now.

On the other hand, Burna boy is not an activist, he doesn't need to be one and he never claimed to be one. That's all that needs to be said. Talking about how everyone now claims to love Fela as if that was the bone of contention is cherry picking.

Let me point out that these people with all their alternative monikers are breaking the rules by always spamming the politics section with their sermon.
So far they have been ignored but it's high time they are treated like the others who post irrelevant videos and pictures here.
