The FCT minister comes to Trademore Estate to distribute palliatives to relief those who where affected by the flood that happened on July 25th. The flood badly affected houses and swept a man away. The rescue team (FEMA) had traced him the next and found his dead body. The cause of the flood before now was overflowing of the river but on August 26th the river was not full and did not overflow. According to people it was said that the spill way of a dam was opened and caused the flood but the Estate engineer has gone and have seen that other estates have diverted the water of their Estate into Trademor.
Today Wednesday 30th September the FCT minister came around and brought palliatives. She said that she is going to go to different places to distribute palliatives but she is starting from Trademor Estate, Lugbe, Abuja. She got a list of 30 affected houses and brought 50 of each item but when she came she got another list of 78 houses hich led to confusion so the palliatives will be shared tommorow Thursday 1st October. She brought Honnywell noodles and campgas.
