EXPOSED BVN: Can It Be Secured Or Ptotected? by Felyyaks(f): 11:05pm On Sep 30, 2020 |
Hi guys, So a week ago, a friend of mine had to submit a document for a business transaction which had a slot for BVN and she provided, several hours later she got a debit alert of the sum 45k to an unknown account. On inquiry from her bank she was told her BVN has been tempered with and the culprit will be traced. Few days ago I was meant to be credited with an amount through my bank's mobile app, but there was complications. Now the hostile accountant I met told me it's was due to the large amount of money been transferred (which I think is not true), he gave me a form to fill which required my BVN. I was reluctant on remembering the experience of my friend, but he insisted stating that without it the transaction cannot be reversed. My question: is there a way in which the BVN can be protected or secured if eventually exposed to someone else ?cause it can't be replaced or changed for a stipulated time, since it is biometric |
