A Brief Biography of Reverend Paul Jinadu

'From being a staunch Muslim to making disciples for Christ'

"We discovered from the scriptures that discipleship is the only means designed by God to bring His children into the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, which is the eternal purpose of God for saving us" Reverend Paul Jinadu.

Reverend Dr Paul Jinadu was born into a Muslim family as Muhammed Ali Monsuru Jinadu in 1942, in Lagos, South-West Nigeria.

Having left Nigeria to study Medicine in the United Kingdom,19-year-old Muhammed Ali Monsuru Jinadu was invited to see a film titled ‘Miracles in the Jungle’ in the Chelmsford United Kingdom. A film sponsored by Christians. He miraculously decided to attend.

As God would have it, there was no film that night, but the powerful Word of God backed up with signs and wonders. This young Muslim was impressed by the love and joy evident in those around him. More so, Muhammed Ali Monsuru was amazed by the bold claims of the Preacher.
The young Muslim, Muhammed Ali Monsuru Jinadu was completely dumb-founded when a crippled woman was carried to the front to be prayed for and after prayer in the Name of Jesus, she began to walk and run.

This later became a life-changing meeting!

Before it closed, the Lord Jesus Christ had appeared to him personally in a vision. And by divine guidance, he said: “Lord, if this is
you, I give you my heart
" in response.
The change was sudden and total!
As weeks passed, Muhammed Ali Monsuru Jinadu was baptised and named Paul, to herald his new found Faith in Christ Jesus. Soon his medical textbooks were abandoned, overtaken by an insatiable thirst for the Bible and within years, he received the call of God to full-time ministry and he promptly obeyed and abandoned all pursuits of a medical career.

After a time of persecution and opposition from his family, he was divinely guided to the Bible College of Wales, Swansea in 1962, and later also studied Theology at The London Bible College, where he graduated in 1972. While abroad, Rev. Paul Jinadu built his life and Christian journey on Five principles which are:
A life of Faith, A life of Prayer, Hard work, Study and
Knowing God
through the Holy Spirit.
These principles became the guiding foundations of his life!

In Rev. Paul's second year at Swansea, he met Kate and married her two years later in April 1966. Almost immediately they left for Lagos, Nigeria as missionaries.
Rev. Paul Jinadu along with his wife worked with The Apostolic Church and then extensively with the Foursquare Gospel Church as Pastors and Church planters. God used them powerfully in healing crusades and with students and school children.

As a young Minister at that time, Brother Paul had received in his heart, from scriptures, a vision of the pattern of the Church Jesus Christ promised to build, which he constantly shared with his members and disciples while in Nigeria. Though there were difficulties in fulfilling this vision. Nonetheless, in no distant time, some of Brother Paul’s disciples started a fellowship in Ibadan, Nigeria and felt led to invite him back to Nigeria to be their Pastor. These actions birthed The New Covenant Church which was formally inaugurated in Samonda, Ibadan, Nigeria in 1985 while the first branch in the United Kingdom started in London in 1986. Currently, he oversees over 600 branches of the Church in 23 countries.

Although he abandoned his initial medical career plan, he holds two Doctorate Degrees, one in Divinity and the other in Theology which he obtained from Trinity Theological College in America.

Rev. Paul Jinadu's sole passion is to see Christians come to the knowledge of the truth and be disciplined and to train Christian leaders to last the race. This, the Lord has helped him do in his Ministry for over 50 years.

Reverend Dr Paul Jinadu is an Apostle, Spiritual Father and Mentor to many Pastors across the globe, a sought-after Speaker and Author of “I have seen the Lord” which was written after he surrendered his life to Christ among many other books.

Rev. Kate Jinadu, his wife, also shares a deep passion to empower women in Ministry. She also has a passion for winning souls for Christ and helping people in rural Africa have a better life. This work is carried out through her charity, which provides schools, healthcare, clean water and fair trade for villagers in Nigeria. Rev. Paul Jinadu has been married to Rev. Mrs Kate Jinadu, The International President of The Covenant Women International for over half a century. They are blessed with two sons who are also ministers of God and three grandchildren.

The Word of God gives an insight into the kind of winning we inherit when we come to Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things become new".
