I don't really support SARS ban, but need overhaul reform of the outfit.

-First of all, aggressive and oppressive tactics needs to be permanently omitted from their institutional policies, but informative, calculative and civic policies are welcomed.. Using streetwise method is like fire for fire which makes the world a ruinous heap or an eye for an eye that makes the world blind.

Secondly, many bad eggs among them are stark illiterates, ill-brought up, thugs, street cultists, rapists, underworld frat members, trado-ritualists, criminals, murderers, politicans' spies, etc.. This is where aggressive training, investigation and screening of these men should be properly addressed, because Nigeria system is mostly uncivic in nature..

The directive was all inclusive, go and read it again. Not this particular news but the first one that limits their activities

Theyve been overhauled 4 times in 4 years, same result... They deserve being killed.

There seems to be an urgent need for refurmation in the Nigeria police force.

Also as mentioned by the IG of police, there is also the need for town hall meeting to strengthen synergy between citizens and the police force.

Even if its 100 times, they are scam and media baits. Even Nigeria herself needs total overhauling. So the masses are the real cause of the problem.

The bad leaders that we voted and employed are the ones empowering these legalised criminal outfit to oppress us. These bad leaders are also replica of us, we shouldn't expect any thing good when bad leaders are at corridor of power.

SARS officials are just human beings like we the corrupt Nigerians, so they are acting brutally based on order.. Who gave them order? Who voted and employed the order giver?

Let's deal with the root cause of the SARS brutality first..

Idris Muhammed:

https://www.vanguardngr.com/2020/10/fsars-reforms-guilty-officers-arrested-set-to-face-disciplinary-action/

A statement by the Force Public Relations Officer, DCP Frank Mba said the IGP reiterated that some of the officers who have been found to be unruly and unprofessional in their dealings with the citizens, particularly the youth, have been arrested and are already facing disciplinary actions.

1. You only arrested "some of the officers". How about the remaining ones?

2. You only arrested those found to be unruly, how about those who committed murder and killings. Abi unruly is a more serious crime than murder?

3. Why not publish the names of those officers arrested? Better still why not parade them? After all if police arrest people who went clubbing, or who who stole somebody's goat, or engage in Yahoo Yahoo, they usually parade them

The courtesy call to the IGP by the minister and everything both of them said are all arranged to deceive the public as usual. It's all part of Buhari government's policy of lying to Nigerians.

Nobody has been arrested. SARS and all their criminal activities will not stop. Tomorrow, you will still read another sad news of people being killed and extorted by these crooks with AK-47

Re: FSARS Reforms: Guilty Officers Arrested, Set To Face Disciplinary Actions – IGP by Yampotatocarrot(m): 7:09am On Oct 06, 2020
The IG is busy acting dumb. There is no way to even report these guys because they don't wear uniform with names attached and their vehicles are unmarked.

So, let's say one is waylaid and billed at Pen-Cinena by SARS and wants to go report, what station will he report to, seeing that they might have moved to Sango by then?

Nairaland can help out by dedicating a thread for reporting such. If you're going on the road and see any SARS roadblock, just come on the thread and quickly post the exact location. That way, whatever authority is in charge will know where to act.

Don't ask us to call phone numbers cos most times, nobody will pick. As for the SARS guys also being on the thread, I'm very sure they don't have a dedicated communication line, so their loss

sars killing innocent civilians is what it takes before sars could be reformed. blood has to be spilled first before taking action, you're the one who needs reform.
