When Will Nigeria Youths Kick Against Old Leaders? — Nigerians Dig Out 2012 Tweet By Lauretta Onochie

Nigerians have dug out a tweet by President Muhammadu Buhari's special assistant on social media Lauretta Onochie.

Featured24 reports that the tweet was made by Onochie on December 3, 2012 during the Goodluck Ebele Jonathan-led administration.

In the tweet, Onochie questioned when Nigerian youth will kick 'their old leaders in the b*tts.'

“Gerontocracy is a state, a society or a group governed by old people such as Nigeria.

"When will our youth kick their leaders old butts? When,” she questioned.

This comes after Onochie described Wizkid as Dumbkid over the way the singer approached the President on brutalities by Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) in the country.

Wizkid in his tweet had called Buhari and old man which didn't sit down well with Onochie.

Reacting to the singer's manner of approach, Onochie wrote; “Its not disrespectful to call anyone old. Its the way and manner Ayo Balogun addressed the President that leaves a sour taste in the mouth.”

After the tweet was uploaded on public domain, Nigerians on Twitter are attacking the President’s aide for not keeping the same energy she used for the tweet in 2012.
