Before this quote, all was just REPEAT directive of things that are common sense to anyone with a minimal decent IQ and we were supposed to watch the asshole SARS officers get away with any wrong they have done and we should just forget about it, cross our fingers with hope going forward.

Also the part he mentions holding the superiors of the officers accountable is key.

If they dismiss the erring officers from the compiled lists. And make examples of superiors going forward, we might see a difference for a while.

I believe the president must have stepped in this time.

But such easy solutions are rocket science for the idiots we have running things in Nigeria.

The order by the IG is working well in my area before now the Police Station behind me always busy with different Car peharps sized but now the Police Station is as clean as anything illegal activities. I hope it goes on

What are you saying? Yes, they have the authority to stop a vehicle and search, they however don't have the right to search our laptops, phones, homes and offices without a court order. Or, are you saying court orders are obsolete in Nigeria?
