samsard:When oil was discovered Nigeria wasn't as large as this, we should stop all these disgusting comparison with Saudia Arabia. When oil was discovered in Saudi Arabia, they used it to build their Nation from the very first day, same with Qatar, Oman. But in Nigeria, you know the story. 3 Likes |

Yes, give their job to a contractor, let that contractor employ them and see if they will not be better behaved. Banks, Oil and Gas companies use that model and jobs get done very quickly. Go on strike for 6 months and yet receive salary, not as if they know anything. Look at other universities in the world trying to be the first to come up with vaccine for COVID, these ones de on strike. jolyment: 3 Likes |

DennisEche: I thought professors are supposed to make new inventions and champion discoveries ? How many of them are working on Covid19 vaccine in Nigeria ? Almost every new discoveries made by companies around the globe, was carried out in conjunction with universities to establish facts before they are taken as true inventions. I don't hear such stories over Nigerian universities. 3 Likes |

I'm not excusing our leadership, just saying that we should realize that we have a lot less resource available to cater to a much larger population. I don't understand this question. The employer (FG) may have decided to exempt CBN or me from IPPIS, but has said ASU(N) should be on IPPIS, that is the prerogative of the employer. Some countries have their embassy in Abuja, some have in Lagos, some have in the two, some don't even have, can you dictate for them where they should locate their embassy for example? jolyment: |
