i am a Vb.net programmer but i have not done any large project before.i want to try my hand on university admission system
but my problem is that i don't know the requirements to build such project.
Please i need a well detailed description on what to do.thanks and God bless.

If you are in school or a graduate, then you should know.

Since you say you've not done any large projects, why not try smaller projects, or better still working in collaboration with more experienced programmers.

Just transform the process of admission system into pseudo code or UML and code it.

why not look up some opensource systems already implemented . and use those ideas to your advantage.

look up Learning Management system there are various project implemented on .net, php & mysql
