For me it was in JSS3 that I realized that my old man was way flat beyond broke. As a matter of fact, he'd been broke for close to 4 years but my mum played a role that I'd forever salute her for. Not once ever did I ever heard them argue over money even when unknown to we kids had been footing the bills for years. I know because that was the year I got my first job fetching sand from the Ilaje river in Bariga. We were at what you'd call "breaking point". I took ma cross since JSS 3 and boy oh boy, its been a j cry our ne cheesy y.  cry    cheesy All in all, God has been faithful.

Right from primary school because I knew the status of things changed in terms of our meals (quality) and (quantity). Later, things got better but truly since then, mumsie's business was the source of our survival and everyone participated well.
