solidhomes: My agent arranged the ticket, it had the same exit date from lag but different return date. The dummy ticket showed we will be staying for one month but the real ticket had d correct return date... Your first point of entry is where u meet immigrations, in our case it was Atlanta.... |

Hello every1. Been following this thread from the onset. I have applied for a visa already (in September)even before I discovered I was pregnant and our visa interview is on the 26th of this month. Our purpose of travelling was for vacation in December but as it is, I ll av to postpone my trip to sometime in April next year. Do you think it's wise if I tell the consular am pregnant even if he doesn't ask? I've a virgin passport and m so scared, this means a lot to me. House please help me. |

Acks: . Do you think it's wise if I tell the consular am pregnant even if he doesn't ask? I've a virgin passport and m so scared, this means a lot to me. House please help me.It is allways good to be honest. Do you have the funds avaliable to take to USA to pay for birth? If so try to contact hospital or clinic and get quotation or even pay bill. Then show details and your ability to pay to visa official. There should be no problem then, provided you have good ties to return home. |

Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedure? by peacenigeria: 4:19pm On Nov 18, 2013 |
wunmi38: Have you considerred prepaying your medical services? We did this, I think I helped since we were able to show a receipt of our medical services paid. So not having enough money to pay for your medical services is not an issue anymore. We still took bank statements, a letter of recommendation from my husband works place stating his yearly income. Basically, the more income or assets you can prove, the better. Good luck. |

@ All who used doctorespati or stayed in Elpaso Please how did you send back the things you bought? by Ship or air freight? Am considering buying here in nigeria instead of being stuck with only the option of air freight which is expensive. Kindly assist a sister here Please any info or advice you have regarding this would be appreciated. Thanks |

Good evening all, I was refused a visa a couple of weeks ago for visitingpurpose cos I honestly wanted to visit at the time reason was I needed recent travel experience since the last time I went to the uk was over 10yrs ago I am 25weeks pregnant and just found out I have gestational diabetes which makes my pregnancy a lil complicated so I have decided to reapply in the basis on having my baby there I will be travelling this time with my mum who is a regular usa traveller and all round business woman she will be ther to support me through out and we will come back together..I have my own business so does my mum and we have more than enough to pay for the hospital bills I have contact el passo already paid enrolment fee which they have sent me receipt etc Do u guys think is worth me reapplying straightaway within the month? Urgent advice needed and which form do I fill together with my mum? Do we pay double visa fee or just one and do we only fill one application as is a family application.my mum had 5yrs visa which has recently expired |

^^^Your mom qualifies for drop box but you dont. Your situation is dicey because you will probably come across as fraudulent since you were already pregnant and did not disclose at your last interview just few weeks ago...it will look like you were packaging your vacation to go and give birth. The reasons they refused you few weeks ago may also still be valid because your circumstance has not really changed from few weeks ago.. Anyways it is worth the try...good luck |

favored gal: ^^^Your mom qualifies for drop box but you dont. I wasn't asked if I was pregnant at the first interview.it was jus brief questions abt why I want to go there Cos if I was asked I would have been honest that I was pregnant cos I honestly didnt plan to have a baby there So we can bath a joint application? So how would they know I am travelling with my mum? Do u just need to state in on my form? Thank you |
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedure? by elitebook: 11:00pm On Nov 18, 2013 |
AkuaA, family trips only apply to children under 18 years of age. I take it you are above 18? In that case, you will need to apply individually but you should be able to state in your form that you are travelling with your mum, and also mention it during your interview, but it would not be considered a joint family trip per se (officially). Like the previous poster stated, you might come across as someone who is desperate to travel to the US owing to a change in your reasons within a few weeks. Would you consider getting a valid medical report to take along with you? Something to buttress the fact that yours is a high risk pregnancy that could benefit from advanced care available in the US. 1 Like |
