How To Setup Domain With Blogger Using Cloudflare
You can easily setup .com, .in and .org or any domain with blogger using CloudFlare but many bloggers are unable to setup

What is cloudflare?

Cloudflare is a free Content Delivery Network(CDN) that protects against threats such as SQL injection and identity theft. Cloudflare also improves site performance and provide fast delivery of Internet content globally. A CDN allows for the quick transfer of assets needed for loading Internet content including HTML pages, javascript files, stylesheets, images, and videos.

Steps to take in registering blogger with Cloudflare
1. Purchase a domain: Cloudflare doesn't work on a free domain e.g yourblog..com

2. Sign up on Cloudflare.: If you already own an account, you can continue with it.

Enter an active e-mail and enter the password you want to use.

3. Add your site domain on Cloudflare

Enter the domain you wish to register. Then click Add Site.

4. Cloudflare querying your DNS records: Cloudflare is querying your site’s existing DNS records (the Internet’s equivalent of a phone book) and automatically importing them so you don’t have to enter them manually.

Once you activate your site on Cloudflare by changing your server name after following the steps below, traffic will be routed to your site through their intelligent global network.

Go to the next action to select a plan, review the queried DNS records, and get instructions on how to change your name servers.

5. Choose the free plan option: As shown in the picture below, if you use free mode it doesn't affect your Cloudflare, only that the Name Server must match Cloudflare.


6. DNS query results for your domain: please remove all records from there and click on continue

7. Enter your domain Name Serverd: To activate your domain, you must point your name servers (DNS) to Cloudflare. In order to receive all the speed and security benefits of Cloudflare, you must change the name servers configuration at your domain registrar to the what is shown beow


8. login to your domain registrar: Copy Cloudflare Nameservers and update your domain name servers as shown below:


9. Now login to your blogger dashboard, go to settings - Blog address - and click on Custom Domain

10. Enter your domain name with www and click on save.

11. you may get error: We could not verify your authority to this domain. Error 9.


12. Copy both CNAME records


13. Login to your Cloudflare account and go to DNS setting


14. Enter both CNAME record in CloudFlare DNS setting

Locate your (DNS) settings on your CloudFlare’s and enter the two CNAMEs gotten above:



15. Now add A Records in Cloudflare DNS setting

Add four A-records which point to Google IPs. see below screenshot example:

Conclusion


16. Now wait some time and go to the blogger setting again and click on Add a Custom Domain and enter your domain name again with www then save it.

NOTE!

If you have problems registering, please try steps below.

1. You may not have to enter the two CNAMEs when setting up your domain.
2. Make sure the “Name, Label, or Host” CNAME is correct.
3. If your custom domain doesn’t work, wait before trying the steps again. If you have problems, contact your domain provider.
