Stop using non-payment of salaries as a reason for why PDP wasn't voted in. APC isn't any better in that regard. Akeredolu is presently owing tertiary institutions in the state a minimum of 3 months salaries, some even more, and he's doing this in his first term. We can only imagine what he'd do in his second term now. At least Mimiko never owed salaries in his first term. It was when he was about to finish his tenure in the second term that he misbehaved with non-payment of salaries. A number of factors worked against PDP in this election like APC having access to the state's treasury and being able to use it well to buy votes after weaponizing poverty they caused in the land making the already hungry people settle for crumbs to sell their votes and Ondo state zoning arrangement not favoring Jegede. Non-payment of salary by Mimiko Administration was the least of all.
