Coconut oil is usually extracted from coconuts which serves a wide range of uses in cosmetics, foods and medicines.

INGREDIENTS
Ripe Coconuts
Grater
Sieve
Warm water
Transparent container

PROCEDURE
Crack open the coconut and keep the flesh seperately from the water.
Grate the coconut and add warm water.
Pour the coconut milk into a sieve to separate the tiny fleshes.
Pour the coconut milk into a transparent container and allow to settle for an hour.
Scoop the upper layer into a clean dry pot using a spoon.
Keep on a low heat and stir continuously.
Remove the solid brown milk that will form with a spoon and you have your coconut oil.

USES
Coconut oil can be used on the hair as deep conditioner.
Coconut oil helps relieve scalp itching.
It can serve as a conditioner.
It's perfect for people with dry skin as it serves as a moisturizer.
It helps heal surnburn.
It can be used as a makeup remover.
When added to baking soda it serves as a teeth whitening toothpaste.
