Why Do Prizes Go Up But Never Come Down by urchcoded(m): 7:22pm On Oct 12, 2020 |
So, i bought crackers (biscuit) yesterday for 50 naira (2 sachets) as I was munching it and sipping my pepsi as my lunch I was murmuring loud how crackers I normally buy for 10 naira take reach 25 naira. My mum heard me and laughed saying when she was my age, they buy all sorts of biscuits for 1 naira each and the sizes and quality of the biscuits are better than what we have now. I'm left wondering why prices go up but never come down? Why is money losing value everyday. The worst part is as price go up, quality and quantity reduces. As in, it's not bad enough that the price of a tablet of premier cool soap was increased from 60 to 120 naira but the size of the soap reduced. Is this the same thing happening all over the world or is there something fundamentally wrong with Nigeria? Mods abeg |

Bad government policies. Those factories don't wanna close shop and leave the country. Therefore, they have to adjust accordingly. I remember the evolution coaster biscuit also undergo. |
