You deliberately miss the whole point. Olode or vigilante has been more efficient in curbing robbers than SARS. Crime has confidently being on increase in Nigeria for decades. What people want is an end to police brutality. It is the job of the Nigerian Police to fight crime. If they say that they cannot do their job without SARS, let them leave the place. Let's contract it fully to vigilante.
Police taking bribe, extortion, harassment of civilians, riding buses like armed bandits, demanding for access and confiscation of phones, laptops, cars etc. These are the aims and objectives of SARS, that's why people don't want them.
