End SARS: Akwa ibom state turns protest into carnival. Here are the photos. By Saimaster Akwa Ibom state is situated in the southern part of Nigeria. The state is known to be relatively peaceful in which the citizens live in peace, harmony and communal with one another. The state also notorious for its beautiful roads and artistic environment and also it's riches in crude oil. Citizens of the state took to the streets in peaceful fashion as they protested against SARS brutality that has caused a lot of pain and anguish in the country. The demonstration was more of a carnival in my opinion which saw and several high placed dignitaries in attendance, the police force could be seen smiling with the citizens in solidarity to their demonstration A picture emerged in which masquerades turned up in massive numbers with various place cards also calling for the annotation of SARS. There was music and fun.
