By: Chinomso Ukwuoma

The youth restiveness in Imo State especially the oil producing Areas, is one of the major fears and limitations of Investors to those regions and in the oil and gas industries.

Gov. Uzodimma allaying the fear of the investors and the entire people of Imo State, offered a long lasting solution by mandating the newly constituted board for oil producing areas, ISOPADEC, to embark on a massive training of youths from the oil producing communities on skill acquisition.

The essence of this training as stated by the Imo State Governor, is to equip them with skills and necessary requirements to start up enterprises for their financial independence and their ability to offer their quota in the development of the economy of the state.

The Shared Prosperity Governor, charged the oil companies in Imo State and upcoming investors, to play their own part in providing gainful opportunities for the youths in the State.
