Frankly, there are 2 things that have affected several students than anything in their quest for the ICAN qualification. You may not have noticed, but these are:

1. Indecision
2. Procrastination

There are several students that have registered for the ICAN exams since the old syllabus but are yet to write the exams because of reasons best known to them. You might not take my word very serious but I knew of a student, Joseph who registered for the ICAN Exams since the 2009 old syllabus tenure.

He passed FA and IT and procrastinated on the other 2 courses until the syllabus was changed in 2014. As a result of the change in Syllabus, MGE and PSAF were added to make it 4 courses again. To write those 4 courses and pass was another herculean task and long days. That is, it took him 1,460 days to pass the four courses in the skills level.

As I am writing this post now he is still procrastinating whether to write the final level this diet or to postpone it till next year and write the new syllabus.

I hope this is not you who have been in the quest to pass ICAN for 13 years.

So, if you don't want to be like him who confessed to having missed several opportunities because he was not qualified yet, get your butts up and make that decision now. The decision that you will be writing at least, one paper per diet.
