Hello ,A man has two women that had Children for him before His Death ,The first woman had 3 Children who later on Left the man ,Later the man had another child from another woman who later left the man as well .The first and second woman in a nutshell had left the man ,This man became very sick and His first son took good care of Him until His Death .None of the women were Legally Married to this Man .He left a Plot of Land with 4 rooms on it . With 4 Children ,3 of the Children from one woman ,1 from the second woman . Since the Death of the Man since 12 years ago ,The first Son Collect rent of a room while the 3 other Children also collects each of the other 3 rooms rents .Meaning all the Children collects each room rent . Main Issue is This : The Child from the Second Woman who is a Girl is asking that the 4 rooms should be Divided into Two equally ,The 3 Male Children should take rent of two rooms while she should be collecting rent from two rooms as well . The Late man is a Muslim ...Lawyers ,What does the Law Says ?

They can use the method called (idi igi) in sharing the property into 2 or use per head sharing, it now depend on what method they both want.

The truth is, it happens like that sometimes when the children are very little..so the wives technically become the beneficiary.....

but it always lead to disputes later when the children are grown...especially this type of case when there’s only one child from one woman and three from the other side...

if it’s two children each frokmthe mothers, it won’t make any difference whether they share by children of by wife..

However, if the children are already grown up...b4 the man died...The two women were never legally married to the man....they even left....the children own the stakes by blood...the property can’t be shared by number of wives.

There are 4 children
There are 4 rooms
The property has shared itself equally already.....

Anybody that wants to be greedy should be given rat poison or used for ritual....nonsense grin

Where is lalasticlala seff ?? Come and see one greedy snake that wants to scatter one family here....

. Thanks sir for your input. The first male Child has been the one taking care of the Property since 12 years ago after the Death of the Man ,When the Man was Terribly sick ,He single Handedly took care of the late man ,He had to sell his own personal property to raise funds to take care of the man at Hospitals before he Finnaly died .None of the Children came or showed up ,The woman that has the 3 Male only showed up two times while the man was sick though but later left to her home, the second woman was told severally but never showed up ,She finally showed up on the day the man was to be buried . Nevertheless after the man's Death ,The first born Gave each room to each Child to collect the Rent .

The first born has done well....at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter whether he took care of the man or not...the rest are still entitled to the property...

. You are right ,the first born never stopped the rest from been entitled to it that was the reason he Gave all the rest to take one room each ,I learnt till date he still takes care of the property from his Pocket while the rest just collect there own and leave

Islam allots women half the share of inheritance available to men if they inherit from the same father. If its goes to a sharia court that lady may get half a room so she should manage the one room her brother gave her and continue to pray for the soul of their father to Rest In Peace.

. Hmmm! Without Sentiments , Number one ,The late man is a Muslim meaning he died as a Muslim ,if the property is to be shared under Islamic Law ,That girl would be entitled to half Room ,Male are to get a room each ,50% of what the male get. The first born must be a very Nice and Non greedy type for given her a whole room .Secondly .If it were to be Shared according to the Law,From the content of the story ,None of the women were Legally Married to the Late man ,To even worsen it ,The two women had already left this Man ,he was even sick and dying ,None of them were with Him till his Death ,It is clear this man Died a Single Man with No Legal wife , Absolutely No woman with Him till the Point of Death .What this man left Behind are His Blood Children ,No mentioning of wives here Please .This Man left behind 4 Children ,simple as ABC ,There are 4 Rooms ,each person collect one room rents ,Shikena .This is a Civil Case .Very simple .I think Serious Greed that taken over that Girl .Moreso is She not Married ? Where is her Husband ? Her husband may be the one Given her wrong Advise ,If not that ,It could be some Ignorant Friends .In this age ,I think everyone should go and work Hard and this issue of Property should never be a thing that causes Fight and Confusion .God would bless that Girl Husband so that he can take care of her .
