After getting the freedom, they couldn't inculcate good values on the citizens because they didnt learn it. This continued for years until the people decided to use the military to worsen everything, the result is what we are seeing today (coups and counter coups)

Just look at this guy? His first shot at leadership and he already failed. Sadly, 98% of Nigerian youths will fail.

How many youths protesting today will restructure the country if given the chance? We are talking about reducing the powers of the president by almost 50%.

We have a warped mentality as a people. That's why an influencial Nigerian wouldn't want to join a queue here but will humbly do so in another country.

PDP governors are now funding the protest?
This one shock me I no go lie. I knew opposition figures and people with secessionist agenda are funding the protest but I never thought incumbent governors could also be involved. So sad! Enemies of Nigeria shall not prevail.

What was the disbursement for, welfare of the protesters or was it hush-money? If it was for 'welfare' did it come with a caveat that no strings were attached and if yes why did he appropriate an eighth of it for himself alone? (the people who protested were certainly much more than eight)

If it was hush money (i.e. no 'release clause' from Mr. Governor) and Kufre is now apologising and regretting his actions then why hasn't he returned the money?

Hope we can all see why a revolution is an exercise in futility unless Nigeria is split up into more manageable units where it would be easier to hold people accountable? Thank you, i don't think generation Z youths should get carried away with the euphoria of the ongoing protest to think they have done something out of the world . The protests in the 70's-90's were against brutal military dictators ,and there were little or no cell phones, social media, diasporan Nigerians in thousands to support the cause.

There must be no clear leaders in the protests, however the protest should metarmorphose to protest against bad governance and clear cut restructuring demands agreed by networks of underground protest co-ordinators.

Thank you for this, exactly my thoughts. If government is bribing few people to leave the protest, they are just wasting their money. This protest has no leaders, it started spontaneously. So it is only going to end when the issues are resolved. Since the news is coming of some people taking bribes, we should watch out for some influencers who will be speaking out against the protest tomorrow.
