Obasanjo who was the president of Nigeria then should be held responsible rather than Peter Obi. Police is an instrument of federal govt. |

Kyase: I don't understand this ur statement. I'm ibo and i don't care if he's ibo or not, he must answer for his evil deeds likewise all the politicians. No politician can swear that ogun/amado should strike them down if they've not engage in any act of corruption I wonder why people are being tribalistic!! If an igbo man becomes a president today, e go add #1 to my pocket |

Biafrannuke: A Governor can impose curfew but no Governor has the power to order or command any of the armed forces, be it Police or Army, on what they should do. Only the President has such power |

Peter Obi should speak up to clear his name. That is his responsibility. However, i take the politucal hit job of APC online paid supporters, same people that popped up Disaster Buhari all these years, with a grain of salt. They have this with Obi before and failed. I will wait for the response of Obi and make my judgement only after that. I believe the conduct of Peter Obi so far deserves that. |

Biafrannuke: The Governor will inform the Commissioner of Police of the intention of imposing a curfew but it is up to the Commission of Police how he polices that situation. The Governor has no say how that curfew will be enforced, or even if it will be enforced. The point here is that no Governor has the right or power to command or order any arm of the armed forces such as the Nigerian Police. A Governor cannot issue an order to the Nigerian Police, only the President has the power to issue order to any of the armed forces 1 Like |
