The ENDSARS Protesters derailed from their main objectives the moment they became political calling for the resignation of the president. You don't expect those who supported and voted Buhari into power to fold their hands and watch while attempts are made to make the country ungovernable for their man. They will certainly deem such a move as unacceptable and people behind it as political opponents. Where were those calling for the resignation of the president during the last election? If they were serious and not mischievous the same energy being expended now should have been used to enthrone the kind of change they are calling for now. Another election year is fast approaching, come 2023 the same youths protesting now will be the ones campaigning for the same persons they are referring to as old politicians, brandishing t-shirts with pictures of the 'old politicians' imprinted on them.
